Government works best when operated from the bottom up. City, County, and State officials along with community leaders, are far better at understanding what is needed to improve their community than a group of unelected bureaucrats in D.C. 

To that end, I support the Convention of States Project, which seeks to invoke Article Five of the U.S. Constitution in order to place checks on the federal government and return power to the states. 

Further, I support imposing term limits on the national level in order to ensure a healthy flow of new ideas, as well as to check potential corruption on the part of career politicians.
